Running for a Cause

Good Evening, All,

It’s been quite a while.  I really miss blogging.

I’m not sure when, but I hope to return to blogging on a regular basis.  Soon is my loose plan.  In the meantime, I’ve decided to leisurely blog instead of holding myself to the goal of 2-3 postings per week.

Over the past year, I intentionally took time off so that we could settle into our new home and recalibrate a bit.  It’s been a great move for us all-around.  Christian’s doing extremely well at work, the kids had a great year with homeschool and co-op, and I raced my first triathlon earlier this month!

So much happened, so much learned.  Wonderful fodder for posts!  Mice, lice, and termites – and that’s just the beginning!  Stay tuned.

One thing that won’t wait during my slower-paced posting schedule:

Christian will be racing the NYC Marathon this fall to raise funds/awareness for the New York Road Runners (NYRR), an organization dedicated to providing inner-city youth with the skills and resources they need to develop healthy habits, solid character, and exercise disciplines that will last a lifetime.

Please visit his webpage where he shares how and why our family is deeply committed to this cause at

I pray all is well with you and yours.

Many blessings,
